![]() A common question I get asked a lot is, "what's the difference between a swedish and deep tissue massage?" One of the things I started doing is drinking black coffee in the morning after I get back from the gym. Once in a while I'll put some brown sugar in there, but I try not to do this often. I'll make a lot of black coffee one day, then I'll put the whole pot in the refrigerator for the next few days. Each morning I'll have about a mug or two of black coffee.
![]() "Is there a right way to sleep?" Yes and no. There's your answer, goodbye! Just kidding, yes there is a right way to sleep...kinda. So first off, I just want to say that you aren't exactly conscious when you're sleeping, so it's a little hard to correct the way you sleep, and I feel like you shouldn't have to, but I digress. I'll start with the most basic answer: ![]() So like most people, since it's the new year, I have been working on establishing some new habits such as going to the gym every day. However, I didn't start until January 3rd, so I've been playing catch up with my workout plan. Thus, as a result, I went to the gym like five days in a row and skipped the Rest Days so I could catch up to the current day of my workout schedule. ![]() It's totally up to you. I often find that if it's a client's first time, having a fun conversation with the therapist helps them to relax and feel more comfortable after being more acquainted with the therapist. What usually happens is we'll talk for the first 10-15 minutes of the massages, then we'll slowly talk less and less until we're not talking at all. |
